Maui County Early Childhood Resource Center (MCECRC)

In partnership with the County of Maui, MFSS serves as the fiscal agent for the MCECRC which provides a variety of important services to the Maui County community.

Childcare Assistance:

It can be quite costly for parents of young children to find quality affordable childcare, often families are unable to work or attend school because of their inability to find appropriate care that they can afford.  This is especially true for families who exceed the income limits for State funded child care assistance.  With support from the County of Maui, the MCECRC implements the Maui County Childcare Subsidy Program.  This program provides assistance in paying for quality childcare to families who quality.

Parenting Classes:

The MCECRC coordinates with other community partners to provide Parenting Classes that promote parental understanding of child development, the parent’s role as a child’s first teacher, and the importance of quality early childhood care and education and strategies to pay for it.

Lending Library:

Community partners and families can visit the MCECRC to access the variety of books and tools available to promote child development, learn about community resources and gather information on childcare programs and services.  If you would like more information on the Maui County Early Childhood Resource Center, call (808) 242-1608, email [email protected]
