Our History

I ka wa mamua, ka wa mahope (The future is in the past)

Since its founding in 1980, MFSS has been providing quality, evidence-based services to families on Maui, Molokai, and Lanai.

Each November, community partners, council members and funders have joined MFSS staff and administration in celebrating the agency’s anniversary since its founding.

To promote healthy family functioning by providing supportive services which build on family strengths.
